Some fragrances become part of your story long before they become part of your collection. During a trip to Italy after studying perfumery in Grasse, I first encountered Carthusia A'MMARE overlooking the Amalfi Coast in Ravello. A year later, I found it again in Sicily—and finally brought a bottle home.
